This was my first personal project when I was a photography student in Rome. I was so impressed by these ladies and their work and I followed them for a while when they were tattooing. After every photo shoot, I printed their pictures in the dark room and gave them as a gift. In return they tattooed me. It was a meaningful gift for me. Still thinking of them when I look at my tattoos and I appreciate their gesture.
